Boise Idaho Veterans Home

The "Old Soldiers Home" formally opened in Boise in May 1895. It was eventually replaced by the new Home which was dedicated in November 1966. The Boise Home has a unit that provides specialized care for residents who have Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and/or require secure care for their protection.
